What we do:

GreenAuthenticate gives companies the opportunity to report more fully on the extent and value of their own programs and practices with regard to environmental concerns.

We hope also to educate companies regarding best practices and potential improvements that they could make as they endeavor to become authentically green.

In doing so it is our objective that those companies that are genuine and consistent in their efforts will have a venue to record this, and that over time those companies that are knowingly 'greenwashing' will be unwilling to volunteer for this degree of public scrutiny and thereby will be noted by their absence.

Why we do it:

Founded to address the widespread and growing issues of 'Greenwashing'.

It is our concern that those companies who's genuine 'greening or sustainability' efforts go unnoticed, competing as they do with the a pandemic of misinformation and greenwashing rhetoric.

It is our sincere wish that our efforts should help the consumer to better judge the sheep from the wolves, and so make more informed decisions that benefit those, whose good efforts and intentions warrant it.
